OXI Day parade

October 28th is celebrated in both Greece and Cyprus as an “OXI Day” (the day Greece said “No” to surrender in the days of World War II). In Cyprus, there are at least two huge parades - in Nicosia and in Limassol - that involve a lot of people from high schools and colleges to military and nautical personnel.

I have missed the parade this year. But since nothing really changes there from year to year, I think pictures from the last year’s parade will make up for it. Hopefully, I’ll refresh the album next year. If you have any pictures of this year’s parade, please share them through :flickr: and I will link to them here.
